About Us
Nordics Value sells pre-owned Nordic ski boots, skates and cycling shoes from Lithuania to skiers around the world, most of them in the United States and Canada.
One pair at a time
We do not buy stock in sizes and colours. Everything here comes from European surplus — club clearances, rental fleets, shops closing their Nordic departments — and arrives as single pairs. Each one is photographed, measured and listed on its own. When it sells, the listing is gone for good. There is no restock, no back order and no second chance, which is why it is worth acting when you find your size.
Measured, not guessed
Nordic sizing drifted between brands and decades, and a boot marked EU 42 from 1988 is not the same boot as an EU 42 from last season. So we measure the insole of every pair in millimetres and put that number in the listing, alongside both EU and US sizes. Pull the insole out of a boot that fits you, measure it, and compare. That single number is more reliable than any size label.
The binding is stated up front
More returns in this trade come from binding mismatches than from anything else. Every listing names its system — NNN, Prolink, Turnamic, NNN BC, SNS Profil, SNS Pilot or 75 mm Nordic Norm — and the description says what it does and does not fit. You can also filter the whole catalogue by binding before you look at anything else.
Checked before it goes online
Every pair is inspected before listing: the sole, the binding interface, the hardware and the closures. Photographs are of the actual boots you will receive, wear and all. These are used goods and we describe them as used goods.
Why second-hand Nordic gear makes sense
Cross-country boots outlive their owners' interest in them. Children grow out of a pair in a season; adults buy a set, ski four times, and put it in the garage. The result is a large supply of barely-worn equipment that works perfectly well and costs a fraction of new. Keeping it in use is better for the sport and better for the landfill, but mostly it is simply a better way to buy boots.
