Collection: Combi Cross-Country Ski Boots

A combi boot is the compromise that works: one boot for both skating and classic, instead of two pairs in the hallway.

It sits between the two — stiffer and higher than a classic boot, softer and more flexible than a dedicated skate boot — and most have a removable or adjustable cuff support so you can firm it up for skating and loosen it for the diagonal stride.

If you ski a few times a month, change technique depending on the conditions, or are buying for someone still deciding what they prefer, a combi boot is almost always the right answer. Dedicated skate boots only start to pay off when you are skating seriously and often.
