1. Who we are
nordicsvalue.com (“the Store”, “we”, “us”) is operated by RV Focus, MB, Justiniškių g. 62A-201, LT-05239 Vilnius, Lithuania, European Union. Company number 305677906, VAT number LT100014105713. Contact: info@nordicsvalue.com.
By browsing the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these Terms.
2. What we sell
We sell pre-owned sports equipment, mainly cross-country ski boots and related gear. Every listing is a single, unique item sourced from surplus stock. Items are not restocked: once a listing sells, it is no longer available.
Every item has been used before. The photographs show the actual item you will receive, and the listing states its size, binding system and other key details. Normal signs of wear, such as scuffs, faded colour and minor marks, are part of the item’s condition and are visible in the photos. Please check the photos and measurements carefully before ordering, especially the insole length in millimetres.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD). The price shown at checkout is the full price you pay:
- shipping is free on every order, with an optional paid express upgrade offered at checkout;
- all import tariffs, duties and taxes are paid by us (Delivered Duty Paid), so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.
If your card or bank charges a currency conversion fee, that fee is set by your bank, not by us.
We accept payment through the methods shown at checkout, including credit and debit cards and PayPal. Payment is taken when you place the order. We never see or store your full card details.
4. Orders and contract
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
Because each item is unique, we may cancel an order and refund you in full if:
- the item was sold through another channel at the same moment and is no longer available;
- the listing contained an obvious error, such as a clearly wrong price or size;
- we suspect fraud or cannot verify the payment.
In any of these cases, we will tell you promptly and refund the full amount you paid.
5. Shipping and delivery
Orders are dispatched from Lithuania within three working days of payment and shipped with FedEx. Delivery estimates are given in our Shipping Policy. They are carrier estimates, not guarantees.
Please provide a complete and accurate street address. FedEx cannot deliver to PO boxes. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or because it was refused, the terms in our Shipping Policy apply.
Risk of loss passes to you when the parcel is delivered to the address you gave us.
6. Returns and refunds
You may return any item within 30 days of delivery, as set out in our Refund Policy. If the item is faulty or materially different from its description or photographs, we pay the return shipping. Otherwise, return shipping is paid by you.
7. Your rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Our 30-day return policy is offered in addition to this right and does not limit it.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country that cannot be excluded by agreement.
8. Liability
We are responsible for delivering items that match their description. If an item is faulty or not as described, your remedies are a refund, a return at our cost, or another remedy required by law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier delays, customs inspections, strikes or extreme weather. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Pre-owned sports equipment should be checked before use. Please make sure boots fit correctly and are compatible with your bindings before skiing.
9. Use of the website
You may use the Store for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy our photographs or listing content for commercial use, interfere with the Store’s operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorised way.
The Store is provided through Shopify. We aim to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the Store when you placed it.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@nordicsvalue.com. We will reply within two working days and aim to resolve it fairly. EU consumers may also refer disputes to the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba, www.vvtat.lt).
